How to Get from $1 to $1,000,000

I just want to remind all my fellow marketers that you make a million dollars one dollar at a time. It’s really hard to go from $0 to $1,000,000 in a split second.

“Omar, that doesn’t mean much to me. Can you give me some real advice here please? I’m struggling!”

No problem, here we go…!

Find a method — ANY METHOD! — to generate just $1 online. You can be a coach. You can be an affiliate. You can freelance. You can ghostwrite. You can do CPA. You can do Adsense. You can do VREs. You can do memberships. You can use PLR. You can JV. The list goes on and on.

Just use a method that makes sense to you and earn a buck. Earn just one dollar. Fight like your life depends on it. Get that first dollar.

Once you make your first dollar, pay attention to this secret:

You now know how to make $10 online. That’s right. If you can make just $1 online, you can make TEN TIMES that amount. That’s because you have a recipe for success. Even if it took you 10 hours to make one dollar, you know that with 100 hours you can make $10.

Is that smart? I mean, to spend 100 hours to make $10? Of course not. My point is that you have a recipe. You should also have piles and piles of confidence. You should be on top of the world. Most of all, you should have awareness that you now have a “secret” method all your own. (No one takes exactly the same path as YOU.)

Now what? You’ve got your first $1 or maybe your first $10. What next? How do you do better?

That’s simple. Testing. Data. Metrics. Look at your process closely. What did you do? What techniques did you use to get that first $1 or $10? Write it down and think about it. Look at your numbers.

This data capture and data analysis is absolutely critical. This is your chance to reflect on SUCCESS. Who cares about all that failure? It’s irrelevant. What matters is your win. What matters is that first$1 victory.

With a “secret” method and some data and testing, you’re ready to take the next step: Tweak, tune, iterate. You going to make a plan to do what you did, only a lot better this time. You’re going to eliminate the fat. You’re going to focus on the things that matter. You going to work hard to make another $1 or $10 or $100, only a lot faster and a lot smarter.

Hint: Document everything that you do! You can sell your process to other people once you get it right. That is, once you can easily prove that you can make $100 in 3 hours, you have an internet marketing report ready to sell. That’s yet *another* income stream for you. This will get you to $1,000 or more in very little time.

You can EASILY do everything that I’m talking about in just one month. Dedicate yourself for just a couple hours per day. In no time flat, you’ll be richer by at least $100. And yes, people do this all the time. Think about what $100 means to you today and then fight to get there in just one month. You *can* do it. Then consider this. As you are making your first $100 in one month, and you are getting better, think about the assets you’re creating. In the hint above, I said “document everything” — that’s so that you create an asset that you can sell. Or, giveaway to build a list. That list in turn is yet another asset.

So, what’s this asset business all about? That’s also a simple idea. What you’re doing is building up a foundation. On your way to making your first $1, then $10, then $100 you are building up assets. Things like articles, blogs, web sites, domains, and the like. You should also think about your other intangible assets.

Hmm… “Intangible asset?” — Don’t worry. What I’m saying is that you should be building up your reputation. You should form relationships with people who are doing battle like you. Maybe you can find a good mentor or coach to help you. These intangible assets will be the leverage to get you to $1,000 in a month. Think about your ability to create a JV out of thin air if you have a small stream or traffic, your own products, a small list, and so on.

Trust me when I say that money creates money. Relationships lead to even more relationships. Assets create more assets. Earning your first $1 is serious business. I mean that sincerely. This is *business* even if you’re just starting, trying to make that first buck. It’s not a fun little hobby, it’s about generating cash. You can have fun along the way of course, but you’re looking to generate sales and profit.

Next time you’re in the dumps read these words out loud…

“My business is built one dollar at a time!”
Create a poster with that slogan and post it on your wall or on your computer. All you need to do is fight for that first dollar and then
follow the steps I’ve outlined above. There’s no one right path to outlandish success. You have to find your own way, with the help of others. But above all, don’t EVER lose sight of that first dollar!
